Mini tarte tatin with goat cheese and pear

Are you already familiar with viral tarte tatins? You pile up the most delicious ingredients, put a slice of puff pastry on top and bake it in the oven. Super easy!

Ingredients

for 6 pieces
2 conference pears
100 g Bettine goat's cheese Pearls
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp honey
1 roll of fresh puff pastry (270 g )
5 g fresh thyme
baking tray with baking paper

Preparation

    1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Halve the pear lengthwise. Cut into thin slices.
    2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 6 rectangles.
    3. Spread the oil and honey on 6 spots on the baking tray lined with baking paper. Successively spread 1 sprig of thyme per spot, about 10 to 15 Bettine goat cheese Pearls and one fan of about 3 to 4 slices of pear on top of each other. Season with some salt. Lay the puff pastry on top and press down well.  
    4. Bake the tarte tatins in the middle of the preheated oven. in approx. 20 min. until golden brown and cooked.
    5. Divide the rest of the goat cheese balls and some more thyme over the tarte tatins. Serve warm or cold.

Also delicious as a main course with a fresh lamb's lettuce or rocket salad.
